Praise God that our SK Philippines team was delivered home safely today. AND ahead of schedule by about an hour as the wearied travellers pulled into the MO2 Parking Lot around 10:20 am. The wear and tear of sleepless hours on a plane were evident. But it was also evident that their hearts were still beating strongly after an impactful week in Manila. Pray that the team gets some much-needed sleep and can re-acclimate to California time quickly. Pray for the transition back to life in Orange County as there will be some inevitable "culture shock". May each team member be forever changed for His glory and power.
And as we speak the SK Rwanda team is in the air headed home. They had a LONG final day in Rwanda but continued to press on boldly and faithfully. Parts of their hearts will be forever connected to Rwanda; they are eager to get home to share the life-changing week of ministry and missions with you. The SK Rwanda Team boarded their red-eye flight from Kigali on-time and look to be arriving likewise on-time at Istanbul. They have a brief layover to stretch and eat before they board the FINAL leg home to LAX. Friends and family who are greeting these team members, remember to meet them at LAX. The flight is scheduled to arrive at 4:30 pm (as of right now still) and we shall pray that customs are smooth and easy so we can all be reunited with our loved ones.
