KSG 2013-2014

It is official - Kids Small Groups 2013-2014 kicked off with a bang as more than 1000 Pre-K to Grade 6 students and almost 225 leaders gathered together on Wednesday, October 16th.  Pastor Steve referenced the "KSG Expectations" that you signed off on when registering your child for KSG.  Here they are again as a refresher and reminder of what our discipleship program is all about:
  • Weekly review at-home of the lesson learned at KSG.
    • "Let's Journey Together" - each week you should get this 1/2 sheet handout as a supplement to help your at-home discipleship of your child.
  • Regular weekend service attendance
  • Attendance at KSG.  If more than 50% of KSG has been missed, my leaders will follow-up regarding next steps for discipleship, which could result in being dropped from the program.
  • Connection within my child's small group.  Expect phone calls from leaders, fellowship outside KSG and service opportunities as we do life together at KSG.
    • KSG Family Serve Days - every month we will have an all KSG service opportunity for you, your child and family to participate in.  For information on this month's opportunity, see below..
  • Parent involvement.  Everyone plays a key part in this volunteer-led ministry. Please be willing to support your child's KSG Leaders to the best of your abilities.
If you have any questions about these "KSG Expectations" or anything else from KSG Kick-off or Lesson #1 please contact Liza Gant (Saddleback Kids Minister to Kids Small Groups) at lizag@saddleback.com.
