It is now "technically" Sunday morning here in Rwanda (12:20 am) but a final post before everyone is officially in bed...rest assured the majority already headed to bed an hour or so ago...
The team was truly blessed with safe travels, great fellowship with each other and fellow travelers (even a team from The Grove Church in Riverside headed to Uganda). And miracle of miracles all 34 checked bags made it here safely! We were greeted by so many dear friends at Kigali International - Jean Paul, Denis, Pastor Simon, Gratien, Joel and Dan (our newest driver friend). Wonderful to meet long-time Rwandan friends & family again introducing them to our newest SK Rwanda PEACE team family members.
Tomorrow holds the team breaking into two to start the morning both visiting our beloved Christ Gospels in 2 different locations:
Team #1 (Michael, Samuelson, Lahore, Danaher, Thompson)
Team #2 (Karyce, Rosser, Goldberg, Garvin)
Then the afternoon we'll reconvene as a giant team to do Kids Club @ CGF all together. Great things to come now just pray for adapting to the time change, great rest, healthy bodies, and positive attitudes in the morning!
