We enjoyed a very busy Sunday. We arrived in Santa Rosa, Manila at 7 AM, washed up in the hotel gym. The Hotel told us if we waited until 9am to check in we would not be charge for the extra night for early check in. So we grabbed everything we needed from our bags and prepared to get ready eat breakfast and go to the 9am church service.
We observed SK for both 9 and 11 am services, helped SK clean up, had lunch then had a meeting with the SK staff and volunteers from 3-7pm. It was a great time of sharing and sharpening. Our team had lots to share with team Manila. They were very friendly and open to all our suggestions. We broke out in team according to age groups to share feedback and observations. We also prioritized for them immediate changes, 1 month 6 months, and several long-term objectives to strive for for SK services. It was a very special time of fellowship and great encouragement for us and SK Manila.
Afterwards, we went to dinner then back to hotel for debrief meeting. The kids and parents were exhausted. A few nodding off during our meeting so we extended extra grace since it was a long day of travel and service.
