SK Rwanda: DAY THREE

Today, we spent the day doing ministry with school kids.  In the morning, we were at Christ Gospel's Vision Academy preschool.  We got to see how the preschool works and then participated in teaching English lessons and a Bible lesson with the kids.  The kid, ages 2-6 were all very excited to see and learn from the Saddleback Kids.  One memorable moment was teaching the kids to say, "See you later alligator; after a while crocodile".

In the afternoon, we went to Africa New Life: a large ministry based in Rwanda that reaches out to all parts of the country.  The church is the hub for a seminary and a school for children up to 14 years of age.  At the school, we ministered with 50 kids that are either were street children or are in home situations that very poor.  We shared a lesson with them about belonging to Christ.  Of course, what's an afternoon with Rwandan school children without playing some football (aka soccer)?  One memorable moment was Josh being his goofy self, leading the kids in follow the leader.  Another moment was hearing Brian share his testimony with some of the kids and hearing how some of them could really resonate with his story.

God is really working in and through this team.  Please continue to pray for the continued ministry of this team and the churches that we go to visit.
