Costa Rica Team went to the 8:00am Church service at Vida Abundante then we served at the 10:30 service for the children’s ministry and youth classes. After church we visited with the youth for a small gathering where our boys participated in a friendly game of Costa Rican football. We had another typical Costa Rican meal with rice, chicken, and beans. Walked around the city to learns more about the capital and see a bit of culture. Afterwards we headed back to the hotel ordered in for pizza and did a debrief and affirmations. We have an early morning breakfast at 6:00 AM because we are going to do a nature walk then head straight to the airport to catch our flight back to LAX. See you soon!
Pastor Rudy also gave us a tour of the church building and shared with us the story of Vida Abundante Heredia.
Had lunch at Don Lela’s for a traditional Costa Rican food. Most of us had Chicken Casada (chicken, rice and beans).
Our driver took us to downtown San Jose to experience Costa Rican culture and stopped by POPs for some ice cream! Our KSG kids were very happy about that!😂
Pura Vida Costa Rica! It’s been a most memorable trip for our team. Too many M&M’s to count! We on our flight heading back home. We woke early today n the morning for our R&R activity. Our awesome driver Randall took us to La Paz waterfall park where we saw walked through the rain forest and met some of the other local Costa Rican residents. See photos. Then before we left to the airport we made sure to enjoy our last typical Costa Rican cuisine of rice, chicken, and beans. What a trip! Praise Jesus for His favor and incredible joy and peace!
