SK Rwanda: Friday 6/22

The power of God continues to move mightily throughout the rolling hills of Rwanda.  The team returned to Ruhuha now 18 team members strong ready for another action-packed day of ministry.  Mr. Terry Douglas led the charge as the team impacted 37 Sunday school teachers/leaders.  Smaller sub-teams each taught about one of the purposes in a FUN way so that the leaders can 1) get the importance of the purposes as a foundation of vision and 2) allow them to think differently in how they do children's ministry.  The team was outstanding as they shared from their personal experiences in growing up in children's ministry at Saddleback Church.  Well done!

Then the afternoon held another fun-filled time with abana (children in Kinyarwandan).  They got to be carefree and were intentional still as they played the games that each sub-team had come up with for each of the purposes.  The kids from the surrounding neighborhood had an incredible, memorable time!

Pray for the team as they RIGHT NOW are leading a 6-hour training on Purpose Driven Children's Ministry at CLA.  They are expecting anywhere from 20-60.  May the Spirit flow through the hearts and mouths of each team member!
