SK Philippines: June 18 & 19

This mighty team of 5 continues to amaze...though we know that ALL things are possible through the love and power of Jesus.  Here are some more snapshots of their days of ministry:

Monday June 18 A blessed day of team bonding as we prepared our supply bags to give to the kids and families at our Mission outreaches for the week. Although a physically exhausting day, we are excited for what God is going to do in and though our team.

Tuesday June 19. Our team was blessed in a beautiful and memorable way today. We went to rose of Sharon boarding home, which is home to about 57 girls. The vast majority of these girls were homeless and lived on the streets. As their parents could not care for them, they were placed  in the boarding home. Their history broke our hearts, but we provided them with a fun and memorable day as we shared with them the love of Jesus through worship songs, science experiment and magic tricks which communicates bible principles, crafts and games. We partnered with South Manila's Saddleback Church's PEACE team and also their children's ministry team. God showed up in a beautiful way and the kids were blessed, but we were blessed more. Also, we were also able to bless their boarding home by beautifying their home through new planting. Thank you Lord for providing us with this life changing day.

Morning outreach included beautifying  Inchican school by painting concrete outdoor walls.

Our team went to Inchican school and sang worship songs, played games, and shared the love of Christ. In one classroom, we shared about how to get to Heaven and asked the kids if they wanted to accept Jesus into their heart. About 30 kids raised their hands. It was a special moment. We also distributed small bags to the kids which contained a "cross craft", snack and juice, a Jesus sticker, and a super bouncy ball which says "Jesus loves you".

The team sharing the love of Jesus at Inchican school. A scratch off craft as a reminder of a Jesus.

The team walked through the village of Inchican to invite them to our outreach program.

At Inchican village, we taught the kids hand motions to worship songs.

We loved on the kids in the name of Jesus by playing balloon games.

Changing lives in the name of Jesus. What a blessing to be used by God to share the love of Christ.
