SK Rwanda: Tuesday 6/19

Another fun-filled and FULL day of ministry as the team bravely and boldly divided and conquered at two different churches, the same ones that they visited and worked with on Sunday when they arrived.  The teams are Kimberly, Holadays, Summers, Bassetts, Fraulinos and @ CLA then Liza, Leonards, Douglas & Goldberg @ CGF.

The morning started with the sweetest little preschoolers at CGF & CLA.  The team was blessed to watch the classrooms for a little before taking the lead on a time of teaching.  The focus was on the purpose to "Belong" and the kids continued to step up BIG in leading the majority of the time from games (Amoeba Tag) and crafts (giant puzzle pieces) to Bible story (Parable of the Lost Sheep) and testimony (Molly & Owen).  Well done!

After a refreshing lunch the teams returned back to their locations to meet with the preschool teachers to learn more about their needs and how to best support them in their passion to educate the littlest ones.  This helped pave the way for the training that will be happening tomorrow again (same exact schedule tomorrow).  After these heart-felt conversations the team reunited locationally to then divide back again into two for 3 home visits each.  It was incredible to see the stark differences in living conditions and circumstances within walking distance from the church.  Some fairly well off for Rwandan standards while others deeply impoverished with little to nothing.  Through it all though God was and is evidently present.  Thank You, Lord, for this inspiring ending to a full day of impact.

Looking forward to a restful night's sleep for all in preparation for another powerful day of teaching and training.

Sorry no photos quite yet as the painfully slow internet made downloading from
cameras quite the lengthy process...
