Kids Small Groups

First, deepest apologies if you noticed there has been little to no info on the SK Philippines team.  Connectivity while AMAZING across thousands and thousands of miles likewise comes with its complexities from the US to Argentina to Rwanda and to the Philippines...soon to be adding Costa Rica to the mix too.  Nonetheless, here is ALL the fun the Kims & Wongs have been up to the past few days in Manila:

The Manila Team arrives at Manila airport at 6:30 a.m. We attended the 9:00 service at Saddleback South Manila and served in the children's ministry at the 11:00 Service

 Sunday June 17 afternoon outreach. Worship songs.


Sunday June 17 afternoon. Using science experiments to communicate the salvation message.


 Monday June 18. A blessed day of team bonding as we prepared our supply bags to give to the kids and families at our Mission outreaches for the week. Although a physically exhausting day, we are excited for what God is going to do in and though our team.


 Tuesday June 19. Our team was blessed in a beautiful and memorable way today. We went to rose of Sharon boarding home, which is home to about 57 girls. The vast majority of these girls were homeless and lived on the streets. As their parents could not care for them, they were placed  in the boarding home. Their history broke our hearts, but we provided them with a fun and memorable day as we shared with them the love of Jesus through worship songs, science experiment and magic tricks which communicates bible principles, crafts and games. We partnered with South Manila's Saddleback Church's PEACE team and also their children's ministry team. God showed up in a beautiful way and the kids were blessed, but we were blessed more. Also, we were also able to bless their boarding home by beautifying their home through new planting. Thank you Lord for providing us with this life changing day.
